Our Incorporating Objectives
The establishment and operation of a residents’ association for the purposes of:
advancing the cultural and social interests of the residents of properties in and around Liberty Village, Toronto in the province of Ontario;
carrying on research and investigation into problems connected with the residing, ownership and development of property in Liberty Village;
promoting physical, social and cultural activities among the residents of said area;
providing a forum to interface and facilitate communication between groups in the Liberty Village area;
developing and fostering community spirit;
enhancing the quality of life in the Liberty Village Neighbourhood
representing residents in negotiations and communications with neighbouring associations, groups, individuals, the media and the general public.
representing the Liberty Village Neighbourhood at all levels of government
undertaking projects requiring, or benefiting from community support to serve overall community purposes.
support and nurture local businesses by encouraging residents to shop and play in Liberty Village.
And such other complementary purposes not inconsistent with these objectives.
